On this blog, we don’t usually comment on the current performance of individual companies, but this news has to be an exception. Dell, the originator of the ‘direct model’ for selling PCs, is now ‘officially’ an indirect sales company in EMEA.
Talking at Dell’s European Solutions Conference in Madrid, Emmanuel Mouquet, Dell’s VP of Channel Sales in EMEA, said that overall indirect sales have breached the fifty percent barrier. This is the total of partner sales – via PartnerDirect – plus Global SI and OEM sales in the region.
